Vocational Economics methodology is based on research and data derived
from the most reliable government and private sources. This page provides
a gateway to the foundations of the methodology.
- Bibliography - VEI's methodology draws from a variety of authoritative
sources. This section provides listings of
peer-reviewed articles, government research, and key court decisions that form the building
blocks for our methodology. Where possible, links allow the user to download the
actual publication.
- Data - The Vocational Economics methodology employs data from a variety of respected
sources, with many of the databases coming directly from governmental
agencies. The links in this section allow the user to access the raw data of many of
these sources.
- Challenges
- In the current era of Daubert and Kumho Tire, challenges by the
opposing side to prevent expert testimony abound. Experts from Vocational
Economics have been the subject of such challenges, as has any expert
involved in a significant number of cases. In every case defended, the challenge
has failed and VEI's testimony was accepted by the court. This section
provides the background of some of these and other related challenges, both by
the specific case or by the issue involved.
- Other Features - Search this site or view frequently asked questions,
most visited pages, and a table of contents for the site.
