Vocational Economics analyzes the cost of ongoing medical care for a wide
range of circumstances. Through their varied backgrounds, our experts
offer unique abilities to identify the medical needs and quantify the related
cost over a lifetime. We employ rehabilitation nurses trained to identify the
needs of patients with disability as well as economists capable of stating the cost of
these needs in the present value terms needed by the courts.
To meet the needs of attorneys whose cases involve life care plan needs,
Vocational Economics offers three different services:
| Full Life Care Plan |
A full life care plan is an individualized
plan that identifies long-term care needs for a person with a catastrophic
injury or disability. |
| Medical Item Review |
Many plaintiffs that have suffered a
permanent partial disability may have limited ongoing medical needs, such
as joint replacements, specialized medication, etc. |
| Economic Valuation of Medical Costs |
Once ongoing medical care costs have been identified, they need to be
presented in present value.
Economic experts at Vocational Economics evaluate the present value of life care plans, whether the plan was developed by our own experts or by an outside planner. |
If
you have a case, check our Case Information Needs
page for the information needed by Vocational Economics in order to begin the
analysis process.
