disability-specific earnings data by

These data provide disability-specific
earnings referenced by gender, education
level, and disability status. Education
earnings for persons without a work
disability are based on the latest year of
data from the Current Population Survey
(CPS). Earnings for persons with a work
disability are derived by using the average
differentials between persons with and
without a disability over multiple years of
the CPS. The differentials (which are
specific to gender, educational level, and
disability status) are applied to the latest
year's nondisabled averages to derive
disabled averages.
Sources are also provided for earnings
from the American Community Survey and the
2000 Decennial Census. These are specific
to disability type and are referenced by
gender, education level, and disability
status.
