Linda L. Jones is a Vocational Economic Analyst with Vocational
Economics, Inc. (VEI). She received a
Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling
(MRC) from the University of Kentucky in 2005. She is a Certified Rehabilitation
Counselor (CRC) and certified as a vocational
expert by the Social Security Administration's
Office of Disability, Adjudication, and
Review. She received a Master of Business
Administration (MBA) from the University of
Louisville in 2002. In addition, she
completed a Master of Public Administration
(MPA) degree with an emphasis in
labor-management relations at the University
of Louisville in 1999.
Ms. Jones worked as a case manager at VEI for
seven years beginning her career as a
Vocational-Economic Analyst in 2005. She has analyzed thousands of cases
involving partial and total disability.
She is experienced in assessing loss of
earning capacity in cases involving both
children and adults. Her experience
includes cases including traumatic brain
injury, sensory impairments, and orthopedic
injuries as well as cases specific to
psychological impairment.She has consulted on cases and given
testimony internationally.
Prior to joining VEI, Ms. Jones directed adult
and community education programs in a public
school district for seven years where she
developed vocational and vocational training
programs for adults, many of whom were
disabled or educationally disadvantaged. She also developed grant proposals used
to gain funding for programs including adult
and community education, K-12, literacy,
preschool, and special needs education.
