Coming Soon - Updates for the 2006 EditionWorklife Probability is a PC-based software used to project lifetime lost earnings in present value terms. It is a component of VALE that may be purchased as a stand-alone product (without the earning capacity component) for a reduced price. Using the probabilities that underlie The New Worklife Expectancy Tables, the program computes probable earnings on a year-by-year basis using the LPE (Life, Participation, and Employment) methodology. Earning capacity for both pre- and post-incident are either derived from the above module or entered explicitly by the user. The user also identifies the following key variables:
