Coming Soon - Updates for the 2006 EditionThe New Worklife Expectancy Tables rely upon data gathered by the US Census Bureau in its Annual Demographic Survey to derive probabilities of employment for each age, gender, education, and disability status combination. This survey is the largest annual survey in the world and is relied upon by economists and policy makers across the country to measure earnings and employment for the US economy. In addition, the tables utilize data from the United States Life Tables to factor the probability that a person will be alive at any given age. Again, this is the most trusted demographic source of its kind in the United States. These data are melded into worklife expectancies using the Life, Participation, and Employment (LPE) approach, a model frequently relied upon by forensic economists.
