John P. Tierney is a Senior Vocational
Economic Analyst and Board Chairman of Vocational Economics, Inc. He has over
twenty-five years of experience working with persons with occupational
disability
in both a therapeutic and an industrial setting. In addition, Mr. Tierney
is versed in the economic factors which typically arise in personal injury
litigation. He has qualified as both a vocational and economic expert in
various state and federal jurisdictions.
Mr. Tierney
received his baccalaureate degree from the Gregorian University in Rome,
Italy. He holds a master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from Spalding
University in Louisville, Kentucky, and he completed additional graduate
coursework in vocational counseling, vocational rehabilitation counseling,
economics, and finance. From 1986 until 1992, Mr. Tierney was under contract
with the Department of Health and Human Services as a vocational expert.
Mr. Tierney has written extensively
regarding the vocational and economic impact of wrongful personal injury and
is frequently requested to address professional groups on this issue. |
