Karl Creek is a vocational expert with Vocational Economics, Inc. He provides expert vocational testimony specific to earning capacity and worklife expectancy for persons with a disability. He previous experience gives him advance knowledge in defining the effect of disability on both earnings and employment levels, having worked directly with such persons for many years.

Karl Creek received his B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in River Falls, WI in 1990. After completing his baccalaureate degree, he worked for four years as a Veterans' Representative at the University of Wisconsin, Stout. He managed a case load of veterans and their dependants and worked with clients in terms of academic goals and vocational direction.

In 1991, he completed a M.S. degree in Vocational Rehabilitation and Evaluation from the University of Wisconsin, Stout. Over the next eighteen years, he worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor in a variety of settings. He provided evaluation, counseling, and job placement assistance to hundreds of disabled clients. He is an Air Force veteran and for many years provided vocational rehabilitation counseling services to hundreds of veterans and civilians with a wide range of impairments.

Karl Creek has significant experience in terms of working with both physically impaired and psychiatrically impaired persons with a disability. Especially common are services he provided to veterans who sustained traumatic brain injury, post traumatic stress disorder, and physical impairments severely restricting exertional capability.

Karl Creek worked with the Los Angeles Regional Office of the Veterans Administration (VA) for eight years and was instrumental in significantly improving job placement services for veterans. Within two years after joining the VA, the Los Angeles office moved into a top tier among VA hospitals throughout the nation, in terms of job placement for disabled persons.

Mr. Creek has a thorough understanding of the way in which a worklife expectancy for persons with a disability is computed and the practical experience of applying a worklife expectancy value to a specific individual with a work disabling condition.
